Fluid Flow with Gas-Assist Molding
The customer’s challenge was to find a RIGID INJECTION MOLDED TUBE part WITH ATTACHMENT FEATURES to use for water flow in a plumbing application. Gas-Assist technology was utilized to create a rigid tube part in an engineered resin for chemical resistance. The design insures fluid flow through the tube while incorporating attachment features at both ends of the part. Potential applications could use any fluid flow-through rigid tube application regardless of material.
